Review of 1st shoot

When making our way to the shoot we were really excited bout shooting because we have had a picture in our heads for months and to finally film felt so good. We started filming near the eye to begin with to get the sun going down in the distance behind, this shot was filmed on my camera for two hours continuously, we really enjoyed it till about an hour when we was all wanted to move because of the freezing weather. My camera run out of battery after two hours, therefore we completed, packed away and moved on to our next part, whilst waiting for the film Tommy noticed over the wall a merry go round, we then decided to go round and film there for a while too, obviously i took one for the team and went on the ride. We then moved onto Westminster bridge for our next location, this went very well especially with the people walking in the shot, it shows London's popularity and busy streets reflect what we want to achieved, a well established, desired destination. Following the bridge we went and had a break with hot drinks but then came back to film Big Ben, a shot we really liked when researching and was really happy to find it. We at this point film my camera with footage and a tape of Tommy's, we had one more tape with an hours footage left, therefore we filmed Big Ben for an hour and completed the night with a beautifully lit shot of the eye and the museum. To sum up the shoot i really enjoyed myself and so did the group, it didn't help that Nick didn't feel to good because he had to stand around, but I'm glad and i feel Tommy and Nick are too because from seeing our footage we are really pleased.

Things we could of done better....
  • Took another camera for more footage to film.
  • Another battery pack to have more time for the footage.
  • make sure we have hats, gloves and something to keep us warm.
  • Food and supplies to keep us going and feel better.
Here are some photos...
